Getting "SKUNKED" never happens conveniently!

Although we recommend our highly effective De-skunking shampoo, there is another very effective alternative formula which you are welcome to bring in or may be used in an emergency if we are closed.  Just remember, TIME IS CRITICAL - wash your pet as soon as possible!

You may need to double or triple this recipe for larger pets:

Mix all ingredients together and apply this solution to a dry dog-
 DO NOT WET FIRST!

one quart of hydrogen peroxide*
1/4 cup of baking soda
2 teaspoons of dishsoap**

Make sure the entire coat is covered using caution near the eyes,
 work-in thoroughly for 5-10 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly.
*may bleach clothing and your pet's hair
**dishsoaps may irritate and dry  your pet's skin
